Ruidoso Downs Fire is aware of the brush fire, and has it under control. There will be heavy smoke, but the fire is contained. ... Please do not contact 911 for fire information or updates. 911 should be utilized only if the fire appears to have broken loose, or you are suffering breathing difficulty as a result of the smoke.
